My colleagues have all given you sound advice. It sounds to me like the matter needs to go to hearing before an arbitrator at the Commission.

If you an employee of the ambulance company you can not sue them if you were merely a passenger you can sue. It's not clear from your description....

My colleagues are correct if you don't have a lawyer get one ,If You do have a lawyer you need a new one . Do Not sign the settlement papers...
