Michael Alan Zuckerman

Michael A. Zuckerman, Esq., a Neutral at JAMS in Chicago, is a seasoned dispute resolution professional. Passionate about his work, Mr. Zuckerman has handled more than 600 mediations and 100 arbitrations. He has a depth of skill in commercial, consumer and employment matters. As an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professional, his practice has included many areas of law, including banking, business/commercial disputes, consumer, class action/mass tort, cyber law, employment and real estate. A leader in the ADR community, he teaches mediation and arbitration as an adjunct law professor.

In private practice, Mr. Zuckerman was a trial and appellate litigator at Jones Day. He represented clients in a variety of complex cases in federal and state court. He quickly became known for his skill in briefing complicated issues, developing legal strategy and negotiating settlements. He represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Zuckerman previously clerked for federal judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
