Michael Aaron Zalay

Michael A. Zalay practices in the area of corporate law. He represents a variety of clients covering a wide range of industries with regard to their transactional and contractual needs. Mr. Zalay’s experience includes formation, corporate governance, acquisition and disposition matters, capital raising transactions, private offerings as well as the structuring and negotiating of distribution and supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, service agreements, reseller agreements, purchase and sale contracts and commercial and retail leases. Mr. Zalay represents multiple restaurant and nightclub owners in all aspects of their businesses. He has represented lenders and borrowers in the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of loan documents for both real estate and asset based transactions. In addition, Mr. Zalay provides many clients ongoing legal consultation as "part-time" general counsel.

Mr. Zalay is a member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations. He also serves as a board member of the Medical Research Junior Board Foundation (MRJBF) of Children's Memorial Hospital. Mr. Zalay has been named as an “Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star,” which touts the state's top 2.5% of up-and-coming attorneys under the age of 40.
