After I was terminated, I was a given a very short timeline to review the proposed severance agreement. As I was facing a potentially contentious battle against a small f...irm, my options were limited as I reached out to a number of lawyers who mostly could not meet me on such short notice as well as those who were looking for more easy win cases (discrimination/big firm=big payout) and higher hourly rates. Elizabeth met with me the day after I called and outlined my options to meet the two day timeframe that I faced. She was fair in her pricing and billing methods. Most importantly, she was realistically advised me by covering all of my options and listing pros and cons for each. She responded to my panicked phone call on a holiday, and ultimately, she helped me to negotiate the best possible agreement for my circumstances and my finances.
