Counsels corporation clients in defense and settlement strategy in complex commercial matters. Participates in all aspects of litigation from pleadings, motions and depositions to trial and appeal. Supervises a team of associates and paralegals in complex litigation matters, coordinating extensive discovery.

Counsels clients regarding employment decisions and employee handbooks. Represents employers in matters involving discrimination and harassment based on race, age, and gender, sexual harassment, retaliation and employee benefits. Participates in all aspects of proceedings before the IDHR, Human Rights Commission, EEOC, IDES, and the State and Federal Courts, mediations and conciiations.

Engages in co-bond counsel, co-underwriter’s counsel, underwriter’s counsel and issuer’s counsel in connection with the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt state and municipal bond issues involving general obligation, industrial development, multifamily housing, small hospital, revenue refunding, and commercial paper. Drafts and participates in drafting bond purchase agreements, official statements, Blue Sky Memoranda, Closing Certificates and Opinions.
