As a commercial real estate and business advisory attorney, my strategy is to add value while being practical, pragmatic, and aggressive (if needed) when it comes to representing my clients’  interests. I work with a wide assortment of prominent national real estate owners (including REIT’s and funds), investors, developers, lenders (institutional and specialty) and tenants on a variety of real estate matters. I also specialize in guiding publicly and privately held companies (particularly technology-based startups and their founders) with respect to a spectrum of structuring and operating issues.

Additional strengths include:

*Representing lenders, borrowers and guarantors in the origination of financing (ranging from simple to complex, such as asset-based revolving credit facilities, mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and lines of credit) and secured loan purchases and sales, foreclosures, and workouts.

*Negotiating and documenting commercial real estate transactions involving multi-family, office, warehouse, retail/restaurant, condominium, medical office, alcohol/substance abuse treatment, self-storage, and industrial uses.

*Counseling with respect to corporate venture structuring and equity placing for development, value-add, and stabilized real estate projects.

*Advising nationwide and local landlords and tenants on leasing matters with a focus on shopping centers, office buildings, and mixed-use projects.
