At all times, my main objective is to give my clients the answers and information they need to make the right decisions about their intellectual property. When my advice moves a client forward in their pursuit of IP, I value the opportunity to help my clients’ portfolio grow. Sometimes, however, my more valuable role is to steer the client away from risk, even if it means moving the business in a different direction than the client had planned. Understanding what is at stake, I make it a goal to give the client all the information necessary to make informed choices and navigate the way to success.

I believe the first phone call with, or email to, an IP attorney is one of the most important steps a business can take when launching a new idea, because action without the proper protection can have drastic ramifications. I try to take the risk and guesswork out by providing clear direction from the moment I start working with a client.
