Attorney Sean Brown is a former Cook County prosecutor and lifelong Chicago-area resident. His practice focuses on criminal defense, civil rights, and personal injury—cases where the outcome can change a person’s life.
Sean began his legal career at a large law firm, assisting in the defense of Fortune 500 companies. He later served in the Appellate, Child Support Enforcement, Juvenile Delinquency, and Criminal Divisions of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. That experience gave him firsthand knowledge of how powerful institutions investigate, prosecute, and defend cases.
Sean founded The Law Office of Sean Brown, LLC, because he believed people deserved an attorney who would treat them as individuals—not case numbers. Every client has a story, a family, and a future worth protecting.
Whether defending someone whose freedom is at stake, pursuing justice for a violation of constitutional rights, or seeking compensation for an injured client, Sean approaches every case with compassion, preparation, and determination.
Sean earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dubuque and his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. He is licensed in Illinois and admitted to federal court in the Northern Districts of Illinois and Indiana.
