Kelly A. Moore

Chief Legal Officer Kelly was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood. She graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep and earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Law Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from Marquette University, along with a minor in Sociology. She completed law school at The John Marshall Law School in just two and a half years, graduating cum laude in 2013.

Since being sworn in to the Illinois Bar, Kelly has handled a wide range of criminal matters, from traffic offenses to Class X felonies. She has conducted bench trials, delivered opening and closing statements, and examined witnesses, while also achieving success in complex pretrial litigation, including Motions to Quash Arrest and Suppress Evidence, Preliminary Hearings, bond modifications, and summary suspension hearings. She has worked on serious felony cases including First Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Home Invasion, and weapons offenses. Early in her career, she practiced alongside retired Judge Colleen McSweeney Moore as a partner at McSweeney Moore Law Offices.

During law school, Kelly served as a 711 Clerk with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, gaining extensive courtroom exposure, and also clerked for Goldberg Weisman & Cairo and in the Will County Domestic Relations Division. She is a past President of the Southwest Bar Association and remains active on its Board of Directors. Kelly’s year living in Dublin and extensive travel throughout Europe broadened her cultural perspective, strengthening her ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
