In 1979, I graduated with a degree in political science from Miami University (Ohio). In 1983, I graduated from Loyola University Law School. In 1983, I passed the Illinois State Bar Examination and have been licensed to practice law ever since.
In 1983, I started working for a law firm that had me involved in performing insurance defense work. After working at that firm for five years, I took a job representing injured people and performed that job for the next five years. I left that job for another opportunity which convinced me that I needed to open my own firm. On September 3,1991, I opened my own office and have been self employed ever since.
Since 1991, I have been active in mostly representing injured people. I also have represented small businesses in commercial lawsuits. In April, 2013, I was appointed by the Illinois State Bar Association to the Torts Committee. The Torts Committee is primarily concerned with legal issues in the personal injury area. I am very grateful for being allowed to serve on this prestigious committee.
