Scott Phillip Gordon

I had charges which came from a stupid decision one Friday night at a train stop. At first I thought it was over. I thought I would have a record which would hinder my job opportunities in the future. From the first moment I met Scott, he ensured me everything was going to be okay which lifted a huge... weight off my shoulders. He was open to as many meetings and phone calls as you want before the court date. He was prompt and early for everything. He is easy to contact and very flexible with rates. Hopefully I do not go to court again but if I did, I would call Scott instantly. The case got dismissed and he gave me some advice for the future. Very smooth experience. Lesson Learned.

Scott has helped me on several occasions at difficult points in my life. He took the time to explain the consequences of representing myself vs having a lawyer and how the ticket was written never judging me etc. He is a wealth of knowledge in the Chicagoland court's and is well respected and has exp...lained my special circumstances in such a way that I feel indebted to him for life and feel honored to call him my friend. Scott returns your call and answers your question and puts you at ease at a time in your life when you are overwhelmed and do not know what to do. He is experienced, knowledgeable and a lovely gentleman who is a fantastic attorney that I would recommend to anyone.

Scott is an absolutely great lawyer. Right from the beginning I knew that he was the right lawyer for us. He is a strict, firm lawyer that knows the law and how to work it and win your case. He is also a family man too, and really felt the pain in my case and everything my children and I have been... through. He didn't let the other lawyer push him down, he held his ground. Every time he was right on his toes, knew exactly what he was going to say, what questions he was going to ask, and his argument. On 3 or 4 occasions he met with us to review and go over our testimonies. He prepared us for court. Even though he knew we were nervous, he asked the right questions that he knew would be asked in court, and it made us feel more confident and sure of ourselves. He told us to be very detailed in what we say, and that is the key factor that won us the case. I would have him represent me again in court, any day, if I had to go back. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was visiting Chicago and unfortunately received a misdemeanor citation from the Chicago police department. My good friend recommended Scott Gordon as a criminal defense lawyer.
