Got me through one of the devastating times of my life with absolute professionalism and ease

I am an LGBTQ individual. After my ex walked out on me unexpectedly, it left me in a horrific situation both financially and mentally. The first few weeks of any divorce situation are a confused mosaic of attempting to handle loss while dealing with the legal and financial realities of a position o...ne never expected to find oneself in. I was placed in touch with Tina and she listened patiently while, admittedly between tears, I babbled incoherently about the circumstances of the divorce. She answered a slew of initial questions with diligence and quite calming logic. From that moment, I was in the safest hands possible. There is truth to the quote that "Human beings came from mud and at our core is still mud. No one can be a divorce lawyer and doubt that." Thus I was in for a fight. Yet, I had an entire team in my corner and I cannot begin to tell you what a relief and how empowering that is. Naturally, as the case progressed, every day would bring more questions. Every single one received a fast and thorough answer. Tina has assembled a staff at Badesch Abromovitch who are courteous, respectful and patient to a fault- from the office secretary to the paralegals to the partners. Eve the process server was more of a collaborator, working with me and going above and beyond regular business hours to make sure that my ex was served. (Ultimately he had to locate her at one of her late night concerts!) William McSurley handled what was probably the trickiest part of the case - negotiations with the Marriage Settlement Agreement. During a tireless week of effort on his part, he was able to come up with a solution at minimal cost to myself thanks to an almost preternatural ability to draw the other party into his confidence and calmly work with her in as much as he did with me. I must have emailed him dozens of questions that week, and despite I am sure having other clients with far more complex situations than my own, he responded to each email within no more than two hours. Naturally, it is better for all concerned that a divorce never sees the months and work involved in a trial. William seemed to be on a personal mission to ensure that it never came to that. However, despite securing my ex's signature on the MSA and judgement, he cautioned me that my ex could still challenge the divorce even on the day of the Prove Up hearing. In that event, he assured me that the firm was willing and able to go to trial and go to the mat for me. Fortunately, the Prove Up hearing went beautifully. William was fully prepared on the day and, after months of turmoil, it was the simplest hour in the entire, wretched episode of my life. I was able to walk out of that courtroom with the past firmly behind me and the opportunity to begin a new year with a new lease on the future. I wouldn't wish, what I went through after my ex left on anyone. No matter how much we place our hopes and dreams in a person we believe will be a lifetime partner, divorce is a reality most face more often than not. Any search online reveals stories that show the ugliest side of human nature in drawn out and often soul-destroying battles of even the pettiest of objects. If there is a bright side to it, then it is defined, not only by the enduring support of one's friends and family members, but by a law firm wholly dedicated to getting you through with your sanity and even your finances intact. There was never a moment at B&A when I felt unrepresented or, more significantly disrespected because of my LGBTQ status. I wasn't just another client. I was a part of their mission and the end result was one to which the word "satisfaction" simply cannot provide ample justice. As I was putting my coat on to leave, William told me that if I had any other questions in the future not to hesitate to get in touch. The partnership with B&A does not end with final judgement. Thank you!!
