Biography
Thomas P. Routh is a partner at the Chicago plaintiffs’ law firm Nolan Law Group. As a trial lawyer, Tom represents victims and victims’ families of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death resulting from aviation disasters. Tom has successfully handled cases against many of the world’s largest insurance companies and corporations at the pretrial, trial and appellate levels throughout the United States of America. Tom has secured for his clients more than 45 settlements and verdicts of more than one million dollars for a total of more than $375 million dollars since 2007. In addition to his aviation practice, Tom also concentrates his litigation practice in the area of catastrophic traumatic brain injury resulting from product liability, construction and transportation negligence.
A graduate of Michigan State University and DePaul University College of Law, Tom was a member of the DePaul Law Review and the DePaul University College of Law National Moot Court Society while working full time as a law clerk at Nolan Law Group.
Tom is a Board Member of the Brain Injury Association of Illinois, member of the Brain Injury Association of America, and is an active member of several bar associations. Tom also volunteers in his off-work hours with the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Chicago Legal Assistance and Resource Center, Misericordia Heart of Mercy and St. Ignatius Parish in Rogers Park.
