Prior Injury Aggravated
Dec 01, 2017OUTCOME: $120,000 settlement
My client was a passenger in an Uber. Despite his screams to the driver, the vehicle pulling out from an alley was ignored and the Uber collided with that other vehicle. Since the law provides that a ... vehicle pulling into the roadway must yield the right-of-way, the insurer for that vehicle took 100% responsibility. My client was a personal trainer, and, although he had prior back problems, had kept his pain in check with exercise, diet, and stretching. Unfortunately, this jarring impact caused him to now require back surgery. I was able to resolve his case for well over $100,000.
