I graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2011. While in law school, I worked for the University of Chicago’s Immigrant Child Advocacy Project advocating for unaccompanied, undocumented children in immigration removal proceedings. After law school and prior to joining The Patterson Law Firm in 2012, I worked for the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago’s Consumer Practice Group, where I represented victims of deceptive and unfair business practices, predominantly individuals in mortgage foreclosure as a result of predatory lending practices. My practice also focused on representing consumer debtors in bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
I earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors in Government and Philosophy with a minor in History from the University of Texas at Austin, and then spent three years working as a social worker for the American Cancer Society.
