Mark Stanley Melickian

I work with clients to find solutions and opportunities in connection with business transactions, business disputes, litigation, financial instruments, and commercial bankruptcy and out of court workouts. My clients have included lenders, real estate concerns, trustees, collateral agents, trade creditors, creditors committees, receivers, asset and claim purchasers and sellers, equity interests, and others in complex default matters throughout the country. I have substantial experience representing corporate trustees in bond default situations, where management of both the asset and of bondholder communications is critical.

In addition, I assist businesses and not for profits in litigation, corporate and transactional matters, and as general outside counsel, advising on corporate governance, board and committee structure, bylaws, employment, fund-raising, regulatory, grievance, and other operational and administrative matters.

I served as co-chair of a large law firm's Pro Bono Committee and administrator of its Midwest pro bono practice, and remain invested in the pro bono legal services community.
