Very Disappointed

Very disappointed in the result. Janet was diagnosed with cancer shortly after taking my case. I sympathize but if you can't manage due to your health just tell me and I could of found another attorney. She's exceptional at running up a big bill with little result to show for the expense. I did e...verything I could to move it along but she and my x did everything to drag it out. A divorce with small assets took almost two years. Once the money is gone the attorneys resolve things very quickly. They get your financials up front so they know just how long to drag it out until you're broke then suddenly everything is done overnight. She helped slow down the process at every turn. The only thing she was good at keeping me informed about was the bill.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
