I have never needed a lawyer before however, when I was referred to George Berbas for my case I was beyond extremely satisfied. George is a really nice guy and he treats his clients as if they were family. He really works hard for his clients. My case in particular was a very hard DUI case, and Geor...ge never gave up. He fights extremely hard and does whatever it takes to help his clients. He truly is a great lawyer and he will do everything in his power to assure that his clients get the best outcome possible in their cases as he did for me. He kept in touch through the entire process of all the court dates to let me know how everything was going. Even when I thought everything seemed hopeless, he really fought for me and turned everything around. The day I found out I beat my case I felt like he made a miracle happen. I had 4 counts against me at the beginning of my case of improper lanes usage, DUI for alcohol, a DUI for marijuana, and also open container. At the end of my case, George helped me get everything dropped to reckless driving, 40 hours community service, court costs, and a class I have to take for drinking and driving. He truly is a great person, an outstanding lawyer, and a good friend. I would recommend him to anyone who has a criminal or DUI case and needs a good lawyer; George is definitely the person to call. He’s awesome! He makes miracles happen.

I had the best experience you can could possibly have with a lawyer! I was originally being charged with 3 Class C Felonies. By the time we made it to court I was only being charged with 1 Class C Felony. Mr. Berbas went way above and beyond what he had to do. At one point I was offered a Felony conv...iction with no time, I told Mr. Berbas that I would take that. At this point most other lawyers would have taken this and been done with it. George told me that he wasnt going to accept this and that a Felony will tarnish my record for life. He cared enough to go the extra mile for me. After is his negotiations with DA, I was convicted of Misdemeanor with minimal fines. I am not able to thank Mr. Berbas enough for what he did for me and my life. I highly recommend Mr. Berbas to anyone that wants an experience, quality, lawyer that cares about you and ur life.

the first question was do I have the 500 dollars for the consultation which he demanded. after processing my Discover card and waiting until it cleared because the system was slow then he started talking. He was only talking about himself and about how many years he was a prosecutor for Cook county. ...To make a long story short he was telling me to go find my court file and all sorts of paper work and bring to him let alone his office is downtown and I have to pay for parking too. Oh and forgot to mention our parents were family friends.lol. Tony
