Proabation Violation - Outstanding Warrant

I do not live in Chicago or Illinois, but when I picked up a criminal charge in Philadelphia it became known I had a warrant in Chicago. I was unaware of the warrant myself, however was very concerned with turning myself in to resolve the issue. I did not want to travel to Chicago to turn myself in..., and was very concerned with then being found guilty of probation violation and being sentenced to up to a year in Cook County Prison. I knew I needed a lawyer in Illinois, and didn't know where to begin. A lucky internet search and I was fortunate to have a free consultation with Mr. Anderson on the phone. He was very patient and listened to all of my concerns and circumstances. He recommended that he first investigate the matter for a fair retainer and then get back to me with the exact facts. He did exactly that and then recommended a legal strategy for resolving the warrant. For another fair retainer I let him pursue the strategy and represent me in court before a judge. I did not have to travel to Illinois, and I did not have to turn myself in to the police. Ultimately in the end the warrant was "Quashed and Recalled." Most simply put he made the warrant go away. There were many important variables in this case, and I sincerely don't believe I deserved prison time for missing a court date I was unaware of - but that's not how the criminal system works and probation violations are not taken lightly. Ultimately it comes down to the Judge or the Jury but having a knowledgeable, attorney who is confident in the courtroom before the judge, and willing to investigate matters before going to court is going to make a significant difference. Mr. Anderson helped keep me out of prison and therefore helped me remain with my wife, my children and continue to pursue my livelihood and career. My Liberty was on the line, Mr. Anderson knew and appreciated the significance of that and fought to defend me. I would not hesitate to recommend him for legal council
