I made a genuine effort to be patient and understanding throughout this process, but based on my personal experience, there were consistent challenges with communication, alignment, and overall case management that made an already difficult situation more stressful than it needed to be. A few key ...points from my experience: • I experienced confusion around billing, including a payment I made on July 9, 2025, that did not appear to be clearly reflected in my records. • I frequently had to initiate follow-ups—often on a weekly basis—just to receive updates or basic clarity. This made the process feel reactive rather than professionally managed. • I traveled out of state for an in-person meeting expecting a prepared and informed discussion. Instead, I left feeling that my case was not as thoroughly reviewed as I had anticipated, and the meeting felt rushed. • After the verdict, I expected clear legal guidance on next steps. Instead, I felt I had to independently research my options. The response that was ultimately communicated back appeared to closely mirror the information I had provided, which left me feeling that I was largely driving my own case strategy. • Communication at times felt inconsistent, and I experienced a lack of alignment across interactions, which added to the overall frustration. Overall, my experience did not meet expectations in terms of preparation, communication, and guidance—especially for something as important as legal representation. I would strongly encourage others to establish clear expectations upfront around communication cadence, case ownership, and billing transparency.

Not Recommended

I have met Caroline Smith personally and she is extremely rude to me. Although she may follow through with the case she is very unprofessional and unpersonable. I suggest that if you are considering her, my opinion would be to go with another company who treat their clients better. She referred to me... as "poor people" and extremely, extremely rude. Her office called me the day before court and told me that I was responsible for the lawyers fee because they could not get the realty company to pay it. I did not have the money last minute, but came prepared with a payment date and she treated me as though I was trying to stiff her out of a payment. My recommendation is to go with another lawyer firm that would appreciate the business of the client. I will pray for her and her abrasive, aggressive personality with her clients. I feel sorry for her.
