don't just hire experience, hire someone with a heart.

After hiring this law firm, specifically Gemma Allen to handle my divorce and ensuing custody case, I was passed off to what I have come to realize as the lesser of the two partners. Mr Ladden is a very nice man and at one point in his career may have been a strong advocate. However, at this poin...t in his life he should really examine his mental ability to continue. I'm sorry to say Ron will claim failure to follow up despite multiple email documents to the contrary. Ron will claim he did something because he ALWAYS does things that way only to realize late he got the cases mixed up. Now this would be fine in most situations except when ones children are involved and the case is loss due to lack of mental capacity. I spent over a half million dollars with this firm only to be dropped right before trial. I was manipulated into selling assets and liquidating 401k's under the guise of "another attorney will cost too much to bring up to speed" so I did everything they said to keep them as my attorney which in the end cost me the decision. I have since hired a local attorney to the Northshore, one with a lower hourly rate but 10 times the heart. In the end, i have added days to my custody split, minimized stress for my boys, and kept a little money in the bank. It just goes to show, a 450.00 and hour attorney, isn't all it's cracked up to be. Please Ron, retire. Save someone else from losing their life's wages just to make you still feel like a contributing member of the law community.
