Lena has been a great attorney for my divorce. She was always there when I had a question for her or to give me an advice in a difficult situation that was going on. Her calm, knowledge of the law, and her way to explain complex cases along the process always reassured me and took the stress level ...down every time! We had a very opened communication and she would not hesitate to tell me that some of my suggestions/ideas were not worth the time and money. But what I probably like the most about Lena was the way she set the expectations each time we had to go court and how accurate she was. I hired Lena on the recommendation of an attorney I highly respect, who was not able to take my case at that time. I have been grateful ever since. My original divorce case was not only contentious, it involved several children with special needs, one party that was regularly providing false information and statements to the court (which 2 judges called out), and the Guardian ad Litem disappeared. I found Lena for Post Decree issues, and she offered me immense relief after an initial judgement that was disproportionately unfavorable to my side. (My initial attorney has been subsequently sued by many for misconduct and malpractice). For the next 8 years, my ex was regularly in court, but Lena was able to focus on issues of law and I was able to prevail.
