Kristen M. Stoicescu

Kristen M. Stoicescu joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2024 and focuses her practice on mass torts, medical malpractice, personal injury, and products liability. Throughout her time at the firm, she has recovered more than $525 million for her clients. In 2026, she was part of a trial team that secured a $241 million jury verdict for the family of a man who died while transporting dry ice as a courier. The verdict included $49.5 million in compensatory and $191.5 million in punitive damages.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Stoicescu clerked for Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and worked as a litigation associate at two leading defense firms, handling mass torts, intellectual property, government investigations, commercial disputes, and bankruptcy matters.

Ms. Stoicescu earned her J.D. with honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2020. She served as an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, teaching assistant, moot court competitor and coach, and captain of the National Trial Team, winning first place in multiple national competitions. In 2025, she was admitted to the Seventh Circuit's Criminal Justice Act panel.

She earned a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University in 2016. As captain of NIU's mock trial team, she led the team to the national competition, placing in the top 50 of more than 800 teams. She personally received several outstanding attorney awards.

Ms. Stoicescu is a member of the American Association for Justice and other professional organizations. She has co-authored a peer-reviewed article on a vaccine candidate for lymphatic filariasis. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing volleyball.
