About Joseph

Biography

Besides practicing law full time I have a hobby making and selling wine from my vacation home in Healdsburg, CA. We call our business there Garofalo Family Vineyards. We are a licensed non-resident dealer in Illinois and distribute through Sabaca Beverage and our retailer is Perman Wine Selections. The only wine we produce is Zinfandel. We just bottled our 2012 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel which will go on sale Fall, 2013.

My practice has always been concentrated in the defense of employers in workers' compensation and employers' liability cases. I have represented many insurance carriers and self insured employers. I also have a great deal of experience with defending cases arising arising in a wrap up context with a special emphasis on construction litigation.
