Expert Real Estate Counsel

We hired Jon to represent us to close on both the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new home. To make it difficult, we set both closings for the same day less than 5 weeks after signing the contracts. To top it all off, the seller on our new home decided not to hire an attorney and to do... the closing himself. Jon didn't miss a beat. He expertly coordinated with our agent and lender to make sure all conditions were timely met. He also went above and beyond to work with the unrepresented seller to make sure that he did everything that was necessary to meet our closing. In the end, we successfully closed both transactions on time with Jon's help. Even though I am a lawyer, I would not have been able to sell and buy these homes without Jon's expert assistance. He is a highly capable, professional and ethical attorney. My wife and I are very happy we hired him.

Wonderful Real Estate Attorney

Jon assisted my fiance and I with our first condo purchase in Chicago. We were very unseasoned and also had to adjust to several unexpected circumstances. Throughout, Jon was a true professional in his responsiveness and punctuality, along with his dedication to educating us time and time again. H...e was patient, knowledgeable and also had our best interest first.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
