My career in the courtroom began even before I had a law license. Six months before graduating law school, I conducted a jury trial resulting in a hung jury. Two months after being sworn in as an attorney, I put on my frist trial as a lawyer, a federal trial, in the Southern District of Illinois. My first criminal felony trial the prosecutor dismissed the felony in the middle of trial. 

I am, first and foremost, a Trial Lawyer.

For nearly three decades, I have dedicated my practice exclusively to criminal defense, representing clients in the worst sort of situatoin - facing a criminal charge.
