David L. Duran

David L. Durán joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. as an associate attorney in 2024 after serving as a law clerk since 2022. He focuses on personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. During his clerkship, he contributed to cases with substantial verdicts, including a $363 million jury verdict against Sterigenics and a $75 million verdict in a medical negligence case involving birth injuries.

Before joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Mr. Durán was a student extern for Judge Alison C. Conlon in the Chancery Division of the Cook County Circuit Court. He earned his law degree cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was actively involved in moot court and received CALI awards in Trial Advocacy. He was also inducted into the Bar & Gavel Society for his exceptional service and dedication to law.

Mr. Durán completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at the University of New Mexico, majoring in biology with minors in psychology and English. He is a member of several prominent legal organizations and enjoys cooking, reading, volleyball, and spending time with his family in his free time.
