Azadeh Akbari

Azadeh, a principal partner in the firm, represents people from all different backgrounds. While she advocates fiercely for clients as an experienced litigator in the courtroom, she also counsels her clients through and prepares creative and innovative settlement solutions. She caters to her clients by analyzing the facts and finances of each case to attain the most advantageous position for her clients at trial or settlement.

Azadeh provides clients with an honest assessment of his her case and educates clients on their available options and the possible pitfalls and advantages of those options resulting in her clients feeling confident in the plan of action to acheive their specific goals and needs. Azadeh's clients feel secure and less stressed knowing that their lawyer advocates for their interests, and investigates and formulates an action plan carefully crafted to each client.  

During Law Week in 2017, Azadeh helped the Chicago Bar Association to organize and host a “Meet the Judges” reception and the presentation of the Liberty Bell Award and helped raise donations towards child abuse prevention month. In 2018, Azadeh taught a deposition workshop class for CPAs and forensic analysts at the AICPA national conference in Chicago, Illinois.  Azadeh launched Akbari Law, Ltd. in 2019 providing high end legal services and will serve as Vice Chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Domestic Relations and Family Law Section in 2020 through 2021.  In October of 2020, Azadeh moderated a Continuing Legal Education program on how to protect domestic violence victims during the pandemic with the Honorable Raul Vega, the presiding Judge of the Cook County Circuit Court Domestic Violence Division, and Bridget Davis, Associate Attorney at Berger Schatz.  In January of 2021, spoke at a Continuing Legal Education program on Confidentiality, Counseling, & the Status of SB2471 with Bridget Davis, Associate Attorney at Berger Schatz.
