Andrew Bennett Ference

I went into my divorce very naive. I cannot be more grateful that I hired Andrew Ference. He always kept my children’s best interests in mind, and fought honestly for them and myself. He is very sincere, he fights for what is right, he truly cares about family law – he is a good person. He is fier...ce when he needs to be, and fights with experience and intelligence. He is always respectful of the judge, caring to myself (and my family members who attended court with me), but very firm with opposing counsel. Opposing counsel liked to talk over people, and Andrew just took it in stride, while conquering the conversation. I attempted an amicable divorce, and the attorneys at Weiss-Kunz & Oliver were very respectful of my original decision. They were happy to proceed in a very easy-going manner. Once the divorce turned for the worse, I realized I had no idea what I was in for. My ex and his lawyer pulled (what I imagine to be) unconscionable tactics to hurt not only me, but my children as well. At that point, I handed the reigns over to Andrew and Amanda. They guided me through this divorce like a family member would. This is not an office that uses dirty tactics, they are completely honest, they go by the book, and they know the law up and down. And they win, because they know what is right, lawful, and for the good of everyone. They also were very mindful to let me know what fees would be included if I needed to subpoena XYZ, as well as any other fees. I think some attorneys get a bad name for legal fees, this is not true of WKO. The attorneys and staff always made me aware of what costs would be, and what my balance was regularly. I was never blind-sided with legal fees. Again – these are very honest attorneys. I will forever be grateful to Andrew and the staff at WKO.

Mr. Ference represented me during a 18 month Child Custody matter. At times the process seemed never ending and quite menacing.
