I founded Griffin Strategic Law Advisors to give my clients a sophisticated, experienced, and common-sense legal and risk management partner. Over the past twenty years, I have served as the general counsel of a 115-year old national nonprofit; as a partner in leading global law firms; as a senior government executive at the United States Department of Transportation; and on nonprofit and public company boards.

Thanks to my in-house and political experience, I’ve seen legal matters from the inside and am ideally suited to help clients mitigate risk so they can minimize future legal concerns. I bring practical knowledge in a broad range of legal and governance matters, including compliance, board governance, federal grants, transportation regulations, administrative law, and international operations, as well as management and strategic growth.

I also bring to the table some nagging running injuries from my years as a college athlete, a peculiar love for English breakfasts from my childhood in a small English village, and an open ear for advice on how to raise a young daughter who is already as willful as her mother.
