Aaron D. Boeder

Aaron D. Boeder is a Partner at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard who has built a reputation as a skilled trial attorney representing individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, and wrongful death. Since joining the firm in 2010, Mr. Boeder has recovered more than $575 million on behalf of his clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Boeder has played a pivotal role in some of the firm’s most significant and high-profile cases. Notably, Mr. Boeder helped the firm obtain the highest reported verdict and settlement for a police pursuit crash in Illinois. In 2024, he was part of a trial team that won a $79.85 million jury verdict for the family of a 10-year-old girl who was killed following an unauthorized Chicago Police Department pursuit in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood. That same year, he secured a $45 million settlement for a teenage boy who suffered catastrophic brain injuries following a crash stemming from an improper pursuit by CPD. According to the Jury Verdict Reporter, the verdict and settlement are the highest reported results for police pursuit crashes in Illinois.

Other police pursuit settlements obtained by Mr. Boeder include $27 million for the family of a mother of six who was killed in a collision and $22 million for the family of a 25-year-old man who was killed in a West Side crash stemming from a dangerous pursuit.

Mr. Boeder’s results extend far beyond unauthorized pursuit cases. He has secured numerous eight-figure settlements in medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. In 2021, he was part of a trial team that won a $21.05 million jury verdict for a woman who suffered a spinal injury in a Maywood, Illinois crash. In 2025, he obtained a $20.5 million jury verdict on behalf of a young Indiana girl in remission from leukemia who died from morphine toxicity caused by medications prescribed by her healthcare providers.

Mr. Boeder’s successes in the courtroom have earned him consistent recognition among the legal profession’s most respected organizations. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Boeder served as an officer in the Army National Guard and was deployed to Kosovo as part of a peacekeeping mission.

During law school, he gained valuable courtroom and litigation experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable James F. Holderman, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and as a legal extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Boeder graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2003 and earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2010. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.

In his free time, Mr. Boeder enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children and coaching youth sports.
