Michael Overmann is an attorney who limits his law practice exclusively to estate planning and administration.  He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from St. Louis University School of Law.  He attended PurdueUniversity completing an undergraduate degree in business with distinction.  Michael Overmann was formerly an attorney in the trust and estate settlement divisions of The Northern Trust Company, Chicago, Illinois. He served as staff counsel for the DuPage County Public Guardian's Office. In addition to regular probate court appearances, he has litigated numerous contested estates. Michael is a member of the DuPage, Illinois and American Bar Associations.  He has written articles and taught continuing legal education courses on trusts and estate law for attorneys and other professionals.  Michael lives in Darien and was President and a Director for the Darien Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a member of the Homer Glen Chamber of Commerce and served as a member of the Board of Education for Darien District 61.  Michael volunteers regularly with the Lions Club and other civic organizations.
