William Patrick Ellsworth

In 2022, Bill Ellsworth started Ellsworth Law, LLC to give clients a personalized estate planning experience that meets their needs and is offered at a competitive price. Additionally, he provides legal services in both Illinois and Florida.

For more than fifteen years, Bill devoted himself to his clients while practicing law at all types of firms: an associate at a small firm (4 attorneys), an associate and partner at a mid-size firm (60 attorneys,) and finally as a partner at large law firm (250+ attorneys.) He has represented countless private individuals ranging from young families who need simple wills to rich business owners needing asset protection, succession, and tax planning.

Bill graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in biologic sciences. While studying for his degree, he helped publish research in Gastroenterology - a scientific journal. He then went on to study estate planning at DePaul University College of Law and graduated Cum Laude with a Certificate in Taxation. As well as being an Illinois and Florida law practitioner, he is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Bill is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Fenwick Bar Association, and the DuPage County Estate Planning Counsel.
