“I was suspended for trying to help a client whose wife had previously signed documents for a divorce. He stopped the divorce proceedings and then refiled. When we refiled the the documents without her, she became upset and mad, believing that she was previously divorced. I made the mistake of giving her money to drop the complaint.”
