Mr. Sosin is a Partner in the firm Sosin & Arnold, Ltd. A 1972 graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law, he has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. David Sosin has served as Village Attorney for the Village of Crestwood, Illinois for over a decade, and practices in all areas of auto dealership representation, real estate law and zoning law. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
David Sosin was elected to the Illinois State Bar Association's College of Laureates in 2011, joining a select group of approximately 100 lawyers who have received this distinct honor. In addition, David is uniquely honored to have received both the David Hilliard Award from the Chicago Bar Association, and the Board of Governors Award from the Illinois State Bar Association for distinguished service. David has served as Past Chair of the Insurance Committee, the Bar Services Committee and the Minority and Women's Participation Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Sosin is the Past President of the Illinois Bar Foundation and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company. David Sosin is a former member of the District 142 School Board and is Past Vice-President of the Bremen Township High School Board.
David Sosin was designated as a Facilitator for the Illinois Supreme Court Study on Professionalism, and has conducted seminars all over the State of Illinois for the Supreme Court aimed at improving the quality of the legal profession. In addition, David has lectured to other lawyers and the public on various estate planning and business-related subjects.
