I had made a dumb mistake (again). I had the lawyer’s card from the 1st time, as I debated calling him. I decided to Google DUI lawyers , Alex Ktenas, name popped up and the reviews were sparkling. I placed a quick call and immediately got in contact with Alex. We talked and in the first 15 minutes ...of our conversation, I was already more informed and confident than I was with the 1st lawyer I used. Alex, thoroughly explained my tickets to me, some likely scenarios based on prosecutors and courtrooms. We discussed some strategies as he works backwards (the worst outcomes). His experience really shines through and I was confident I would be well represented. I don’t think you could find a better DUI lawyer. The price was a bargain. There were also modern payment options (zelle). As I decided to hire him he immediately went to work, trying to protect my license, which on a second DUI can be a wing and a prayer / Hail Mary. He recognized the prosecutor, courtroom and possible Judges and leveraged his experience. He saved my license from suspension. Then I had an unfortunate accident and long story short, what should have been a relatively quick case was dragged out over a year. Alex, never pressured me, rushed me, demanded more money other than what was agreed upon even though the case dragged on over a year because of my medical issues and surgeries. We got back into court and Alex’s reputation with prosecutors and Judges really helped my case. Not only a great lawyer, but a great human being. I was blessed , no one was harmed, and the case was reduced to reckless and after two year supervision will be dismissed, 250 hours community service and a $1500 fine. Nothing is a sure thing, but if you want a lawyer to really work for you and give you a honest effort, I can’t recommend, Alex Ktenas enough !! Thanks again, Alex !!!

I went to Alex with some pretty big traffic violations, and I would 100% recommend him. My case was during covid which made everything a little longer and more difficult and he was easy to reach, always took time to explain everything and was very thorough. He never made me feel like a number or just... another case. He's good at what he does and I feel that he actually cares and is in his profession to help people. He always took his time and never rushed me through anything and I appreciate all of the time and effort he has given my case.

I recently got my CDL and got a speeding ticket! I was taken aback because the police officer said I was doing over 20 miles above the speed limit when the sign clearly said 55 mph. I was in a bind because my court date was scheduled as the same day as my First day of orientation/training for my new ...trucking job! I had been looking for someone last minute because of how long it took the ticket to show in the system. I had gotten the ticket back at the end of November, the ticket still hadn’t shown in the system in mid December and only because I reached out to the Clerk’s office who reached out to the police dept who then FINALLY put the ticket in the system December 20th! I was desperate for an attorney because I couldn’t miss court and I couldn’t miss my first day at my new trucking job either, so I signed up for LegalShield—don’t worry about it, waste of time and money, don’t do it! Anyway, I reached out to Alex last minute on New Year’s Eve and he was so nice and helpful and reassured me that I had nothing to worry about! He was familiar with Chicago and south suburbs and even quoted me right then and there! Alex explained that because I had my commercial drivers license, some lawyers will try and get over and overcharge twice the amount—he only charged me $250 to represent me in court last minute! The other company told me it would be at least $500–ridiculous! He told me my options and how it would go down in court but he would try to get it dismissed first, and if that didn’t work (depending on the judge), he would move to get the ticket lessened from a moving violation to a non-moving violation—which means that I wouldn’t have a conviction on my driving record. He did me one even better...He got my case dismissed today!!!! I’m so happy, I don’t even know what to do!! Don’t waste your time or money with anyone else—go with Alex!! He’s got your best interest at heart and won’t rip you off! He’s familiar with the law, judges, courthouses and will do his best to win for you! I’m so grateful and I appreciate everything he’s done!
