Class Act

I was introduced to Ragan through mutual acquaintances. Before my consultation, I did a bit of research and discovered that Ragan is not only an attorney by trade. The immediate impression I took away from her skill set is that Ragan also has a strong belief in bettering her community being an elect...ed official of the Will County Board. Regarding my case: Ragan is extremely professional, punctual and empathizes with her clients' needs. Though my particular case may not have been ruled in my favor, at no point did Ragan offer any false hope or presumptions based on past experiences. She tells it like it is, and is willing to serve (and fight for) her client's best interests. Ragan is heavily involved in her occupation and the community in which she serves--a real Class Act!! Though we met on such strange circumstances, it did not change the fact that Ragan is one of the most down-to-earth individuals with which I have had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you for representing me.

Horrific experience..!

Ragain, who was not even my attorney, but the sidekick of my attorney who dropped the ball in my whole case. As my case slipped through the cracks .. I got upset with my attorney. she decided to have ragan help pickup answering motions where she failed. Reagan talk to me and treated me as though I w...as the criminal (obviously she's a criminal defense attorney) but I am an innocent woman in a divorce case. one who has a history of abuse by my ex, so had my children. I had a recent OP because he jumped my boyfriend, involving myself and my children.. And we were trying to get the states attorney investigating that as well as other police matters ...... and she helped the defense have my OP dropped ..representing me!!?!?!? Her and my attorney did not even collaborate together .. (Or else not with me)and she did the opposite of what my attorney told me we were going to do. She just told me it was gonna be a waste of time and money so we should just make a deal in the back room instead with no offensive contact orders ... Which do nothing to help me and my children and have already created huge problems. Just simply speaking to me trying to get through answering questions for a motion... she was absolutely ignorant, immature and told me I "had to shut up" when I asked her to please let me finish my sentence because she barked over not wanting to hear my answer that she was asking!! This is not how you treat your own clients. this is not a good client/ attorney relationship at all (being that I did not hire her, nor give her permission to be in my file or handling my case, I'm not even sure why I was speaking to her). In fact at one point, she was so ignorant to me she began to tell me that I could not call my child "special-needs" because SHE felt he had not had enough diagnosis beyond ADHD and ODD and daily meds to constitute me calling him that... She literally told me .."I better WATCH IT calling my kid special needs unless he was diagnosed with more." !!!! I was not aware this woman was also a doctor or what constituted her to treat me and my son that way?! She felt the need to list off of her status as a "criminal defense attorney and for Wilmington.." SOoooooo???!!! I am not a criminal.! She also just got lost somewhere in the courthouse for over 45 minutes. Our case was called, the judge and another attorneys were looking for her everywhere. she held us all up while I sat there with my children confused. then she lied to me when we finally found her and told her told me she was talking to the judge! not true the judge was even looking for her. and I'm probably sure it's charged on my bill. The kindest thing I could possibly say about her is.... I feel she was purposely being ignorant to me so that I would fire my attorney. I feel they did not want to handle my case anymore and I feel she was sent to be purposely ignorant to me and my childrens needs and safety... and she definitely was. Great job Reagan! Because of that's just how she generally handles her clients ...RUN ...do not hire her
