Kimberly Ann Backman

My ex-husband filed a post divorce decree action seeking an increase in spousal maintenance. I hired Ms. Backman, who was not my original divorce attorney, to represent me. She demonstrated a confident, knowledgable, and “go get him” approach after taking into consideration my guidance and ideas. Sh...e documented many inconsistencies and untruths in my husband’s claims and evidence that ultimately led to my ex-husband withdrawing his request. However, Kim didn’t stop there. She uncovered errors made by my original divorce attorney and successfully filed a motion to have all alimony discontinued. Slam dunk. Cannot speak more highly of Kim and her team.

She was referred to me as an economical choice. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. She took days to weeks to reply on matters. Tried to tell me to send daily photos of the children to the ex. Talked me out of it maintenance when my ex made 3x what I did and I was on medical leave. She would say... she had personal family issues that kept her from replying. Came up with a crap parenting plan because and I quote it looks better to the judge and I would be lucky if I got more that 50/50. Lazy attorney all around.
