Mariam Lucia Hafezi

Mariam is an accomplished trial attorney with a career devoted to representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Known for her client-centered approach, she prioritizes justice, integrity, and open communication to achieve the best outcomes. Mariam began her career handling complex medical negligence cases before expanding her practice to include a wide range of personal injury matters, such as auto accidents, premises liability, and construction negligence. After serving as a partner at her previous firm, she now runs her own practice, continuing her dedication to fighting for her clients.
With extensive trial experience, Mariam has secured numerous record-setting verdicts, including a $3.3 million medical malpractice verdict in 2022 and a $15.2 million construction negligence verdict in 2018. She has also achieved significant appellate victories, including arguments before the Illinois Supreme Court. Mariam’s achievements have earned her recognition as a SuperLawyer and the NIU College of Law Young Alum of the Year in 2020.
