A few years ago we hired Jonathan to write our will and associated documents and found the experience smooth, easy, and fairly priced. Recently, after some life changes, we went back to him to consult about a living trust. He spent a lot of time with us discussing the pros and cons but ultimately r...ecommended waiting even though doing so cost him the fees. It would’ve been very easy for him to sell us it prematurely but he opted to look out for our best interest instead. I am a lawyer myself and I recommend him highly.

Jonathan oversaw the closing of our property in Oak Park. He approved a $6,000 error on our tax estimates that we had asked to have corrected prior to closing and were told it would be taken care of. Assuming it was corrected, we closed, then learned a year later that our mortgage, which Jonathan him...self promised 'would never go up, but only go down' rose to 100% of my monthly salary. The Oak Park assessor referred to it as 'lawyer error' and said he 'really should have caught it.' Jonathan's help was to tell us to 'just pay the extra money.' We had to sell our house within the next six months and move out of Oak Park entirely, which was tough since raising our young family in Oak Park has been part of our life plan for years..
