Scott H. Gingold

Scott Gingold is the owner of GingoldLegal. He spent 12 years at some of the best law firms in the country, working on high stakes, complex litigation for corporate clients. Four years ago, he founded the Chicago office for the leading strategy and economic consulting firm serving high tech industry legal clients, and also serving as the firm’s in-house counsel. Mr. Gingold is a lawyer and breathes law. But these two other business exposures – economics and strategy – provided him with unique business acumen, project budgeting and management skills that law firms simply do not teach.

Mr. Gingold is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is a member of the trial bar for the Northern District of Illinois and many other federal appellate and trial courts throughout the country.

Mr. Gingold received his law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in 1998, where he was a John Henry Wigmore full academic scholarship recipient and served as the Student Bar Association President. Before that, he received a B.A. with honors and with highest distinction from the University of Michigan, where he was a James B. Angell scholar.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Gingold is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Evanston. He also is a long-time volunteer coach for his daughter’s AYSO soccer team and his son’s Evanston house-league baseball team.
