Connor D Jackson

Originally from the college town of Corvallis, Oregon, where his father was a professor, Connor earned a business degree in finance from Oregon State University. After college, he worked as a real estate agent and analyst, gaining valuable familiarity with both commercial and residential real estate markets and transactions. 

Connor graduated near the top of his class from the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At UNM Law, Connor served as an editor on the school's prestigious Natural Resources Journal, earned a Natural Resources and Environmental Law Certificate, and was awarded the Dean's Award at graduation for his significant contributions to the law school. He also earned the highest honors in courses like UCC Payment Systems, again displaying his financial acumen.  

He focuses his practice on healthcare, civil litigation, contract disputes, and business formations. He has experience in varied areas of law including real estate, railroad and transportation law, personal injury and insurance defense, insurance coverage, business formations, small business (SBA) loans, drafting articles of incorporation, class action defense, Section 1983 and municipal liability, and self-insured small business tort defense. During law school, Connor interned with a trial court judge in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he volunteered for the Innocence Project and pursued convicted defendants' claims of actual innocence, and he worked in his law school's low-income legal clinic.  In the clinic, he worked on immigration, juvenile criminal defense, and adult guardianship matters.

When not practicing law, Connor enjoys playing bridge and has obtained the status of Silver Life Master with the American Contract Bridge League.  He also plays on a racquetball team in Evanston, enjoys running with his wife and dog along the Lakefront, and volunteers his time with local organizations like Evanston Interfaith Action, which provides emergency homeless shelters on frigid nights.
