Thomas Gerard Kenny

Tom worked on my divorce case for about 4 years after I fired the first two lawyers who were failing my case. Tom is diligent, experienced and efficient. He is very thorough with evidence. I did not have to explain him what was and was not true in the opposing party statements; his analysis of eviden...ce was outstanding. His knowledge of law is excellent. He was always prepared for court no matter how many cases he was handling at the same time. Needless to say that he is very convincing with the judges. His communications with me were always worth the money and the billing was fair. I was happy to work with him. Not only he saved my case, he won it, including the appeal! I highly recommend him.

I don't think I've ever encountered anyone this unethical and unprofessional before: the last three court dates that have been set, where work arrangements had to be made and time off was requested, Mr. Kenny told his client not to appear. Therefore, there has been no progress made in the case in mon...ths, despite the scheduled court dates; little could be done without his client. Then, to make matters worse, he insisted on scheduling a deposition. The very day that the letter was received about this deposition, it was scheduled for March 16. Again, work arrangements were made and time off was requested. Mr. Kenny's office even confirmed the date, time, and location. Upon arrival, though, neither Mr. Kenny nor the court reporter were present. Mr. Kenny never even scheduled the deposition. It would have been believable that Mr. Kenny simply forgot about this in the midst of his "chaotic" schedule, except for Mr. Kenny's own office's confirmation of said deposition. Normally I wouldn't begrudge anyone, even with our opposing positions in a court case. But this behavior was uncalled for and clearly purposeful. Not only that, but his own client has no doubt had to pay for all of the court dates that Mr. Kenny has appeared on his behalf. Thus, everyone in this situation is being manipulated by Mr. Kenny. I'm appalled by his practices and wouldn't wish this experience on even my own worst enemy.
