Our experience with Renae handling my grandmother’s immigration case was regrettable. We encountered multiple delays, and when seeking updates, were met with impatience and frustration from Renae. She even threatened to drop our case simply because we inquired about its status. Several months int...o the process, Renae informed us that they hadn't received any response from the consulate in Turkey and suggested that we have an Illinois representative intervene - but for a fee. The legality of such a charge was questionable, as I've never heard of a state representative charging citizens for such a task. Communication was a major issue. My first Green Card application, EB-1B i-140 and i-485 supported by my company, was denied about 5 years ago. At that time I have not yet realized my company attorney has made my case to a horrible immigration situation. Later on, I hired Renae to handle my second Green Card application, EB-1A i-1...40 supported by myself. She was detail-oriented, and was very instrumental in getting me to collect the right materials to build a strong case. Eventually my EB-1A i-140 petition got approved after several months. Compared to Renae’s contributions, my company attorney did a very poor job, about no action if not a terrible action.
