Biography
Mitchell M. Peskin is the managing partner of Millon & Peskin, Ltd. His practice is dedicated to the rights of injured workers and accident victims, with a focus on workers' compensation and personal injury.
Since 1995, Mr. Peskin has tried workers' compensation and personal injury cases throughout Illinois, primarily before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission. He helps clients whose claims have been denied, whose TTD checks have stopped, or who are fighting over medical bills, and he works to see that every client is treated fairly.
When a work injury is caused by a car accident or another negligent party, Mr. Peskin handles the workers' compensation claim and the third-party injury case together, so clients have one legal team for both.
Consultations are free. The firm works on a contingency fee and advances all case costs, so clients owe no fee and no costs unless there is a recovery. Mr. Peskin received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1990 and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1995. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in May 1995.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association.
Mr. Peskin is the loving husband of his wife, Arlene, and the adoring father of his two children.
