Seth J. McClure

Seth McClure was my assigned assistant public defender. He often did not follow through on things he said he would do, and became easily frustrated when I advocated for myself. He was not clear about what he was doing to work on my case, either. Very early on, he even threatened to raise a fitness co...ncern before the court, before he had even talked to me about my case! Shortly after that, he conceded that some case law that was "pretty spot on" was within the emails that he was using to substantiate the fitness concern (never heard a concern about fitness again after that). Working with Seth McClure felt more like I was representing myself with him as my messenger, and it is a massive weight off my shoulders to have hired private counsel to properly address my case.
