Cheryl Ann Kamide

Cheryl Kamide was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in November 2019 and joined A. Traub & Associates soon thereafter. Cheryl graduated as a James Scholar from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2016 with a double degree in Psychology and Spanish. During her time at the University of Illinois she studied abroad in Spain, completing her Spanish degree abroad and tutoring adults and children in English. After graduation, Cheryl attended the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

During law school, Cheryl achieved the Dean’s List all six semesters of attendance. She was a licensed 711 student attorney in the Pro Bono Clinic where she was able to gain experience handling diverse legal issues. Cheryl served on the Moot Court Honors Council as well. During law school, Cheryl gained experience by clerking in a real estate law practice in downtown Chicago for two years. She worked with developers, first-time home buyers, and corporations/LLCs to efficiently consummate real estate transactions. Cheryl graduated Cum Laude in 2019 from the John Marshall Law School.

Cheryl is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association New Lawyers Division and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers.

Since completing law school and becoming a licensed attorney, Cheryl has focused her practice on family law and real estate matters. Cheryl speaks Spanish fluently.
