About Brian
Biography
Over my extensive 29 year, courtroom based career I have handled the gamut of criminal cases, including First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary, Arson, Class X and Super X drug offenses, DUI and many more.
My firm has handled over 5000 criminal cases and I have first-chaired over 1000 trials and evidentiary hearings to verdict. I have appeared in virtually every courthouse in the Chicago and metropolitan judicial districts.
Continuing education never stops and I have significant specialized legal education training in all areas of criminal law, including: Advanced Trial Technique, Medico-Legal Aspects in Criminal Law, Cannabis Law, Immigration Aspects of Criminal Law, and the Use of Science in Criminal Forensics.
I am on the Board of Governors for the McHenry County Bar Association and also serve as Chair of the Criminal Law Section. I am a frequent writer and lecturer on all topics of criminal law.
I earned my J.D. from DePaul University Law School and my B.S. undergraduate degree from University of Illinois-Chicago.
