Empathetic, clear, efficient and trustworthy. She is everything you need, nothing you don't.

Never in a million years did I think I would be divorced, let alone writing an extremely positive review for a divorce attorney. Let's be honest, no one really wants to hire a divorce attorney, even if you're ready to move forward in life. Jennifer was an absolute blessing to me and my son un...der the very worst of circumstances. I won't divulge details, but, common opinion is the circumstance of my divorce were exceptionally difficult both emotionally and logistically. Jennifer was always readily available by email, phone, or text. We were in nearly daily contact. She was extremely responsive, professional, thorough, and clear. She made every overwhelming situation feel more manageable. There was always a clear understanding of what next steps were to be taken. She set very reasonable expectations of what the process would entail and the likely outcomes- sometimes it was not what I wanted to hear, but it was always the truth and prepared me for the reality of the court system. Jennifer was my attorney, but she also become my confidant and partner to weather the storm. She cared deeply about getting my life back on track and making sure my son was set up for lifelong success.  As my divorce ended in 2019, I truly became a little scared to face the storm alone. She had been my voice of reason and support. I really didn't want to lose the feeling of her support, empathy.... her safety net and protection. I haven't. She and I have remained in contact and I know she still deeply cares and shares in the joy of my new life unfolding. She has helped in several issues since then, always timely and without making me feel like Im just one of her invaluable, former clients. I was referred to Jennifer by a friend of mine who shares the exact same sentiments and gratitude for Jennifer. I have referred 3 friends to Jennifer. All 3 of my friends deeply appreciated her thorough, clear, direct approach. I am grateful for her high standard of class and professionalism. I respect Jennifer deeply and it was clear her years of varied legal experience makes her respected by the court as well. Oh, and the fees? Her fees are extremely reasonable given she is direct and efficient. She does not waste time or money. In fact, I expected my last bill to be quite a bit higher than it was.  She was my second attorney, and far more reasonable than my first. My only wish was that I had Jennifer from the very beginning.

Do Not Hire At All Costs

I hired Jennifer for my divorce. Extremely overcharged. Did it absolutely nothing in law or practice for me other than say I can't do anything sorry. Never had my best in tenant her mind when dealing with legal matters. I'd ask for multiple things that were definitely doable that she was unable to he...lp me with. She thinks more about her wallet than she does about your well-being. Basically she screwed me over so bad The last conversation I had she lied flat out to my face about something another legal attorney had not said nor done. Her answer when called out on her wrong doing was "I'm no longer representing him." That's because I have fired 6 hours before. Don't hire unless you want to overpay and proceed nowhere past where you started before you had a lawyer. Literally nothing's changed since day one I hired her to now until I finally got a lawyer who actually cares about my legal rights and the well-being of myself and my child. I paid $40,000 something that should have cost us $15,000. I was quoted to 15,000 originally by another lawyer. And he at least would have fought for my rights unfortunately I'm stuck with the crappy divorce and no farther than day one when we started. Do not hire You will be sorry.

Regretfully, I cannot determine at all who this is, otherwise I would reach out personally if I could and ask to discuss this matter. If I am reading this correctly, I apparently had to fire this particular person who claims to have been a client. Firing a client is not something I do lightly; there has to be a complete breakdown of the attorney/client relationship to make that happen. I take my professional and ethical responsibilities seriously, and work closely with my clients to avoid anything close to what this individual may be describing. I am available to talk about the progress of a client's case, detailing what is happening and why. I don't understand how this person was able to determine whether some other lawyer had or had not said or done something, but I certainly would have recalled if I had this conversation with a client. I do not. If this person is or was dissatisfied with the cost, I always am available to talk about that as well. I will say again: I make sure that a client is informed as to what is happening in a matter, and why a case has attendant costs. If a client asks for something unethical or contrary to the law, I will not and cannot represent that person. Having this kind of open communication is how I operate. I would have preferred to have had a direct conversation about whatever this person is describing, rather than through an anonymous review. Face-to-face is significantly better, and resolves questions or misunderstandings as they occur, and that is what I strive to have with each of my clients.

Perfect match of zealous advocate and compassionate support

I hired Jennifer for a complicated matter involving a young child and parenting time. Jennifer was able to help me navigate the complex decisions which affect a young Child in the midst of divorce. She met often with me on weekends and after hours, and was attentive to my needs. I appreciated he...r approach, which often involved advice I may not have wanted to hear, but needed to hear. I felt she had my back and understood my family’s needs. I felt safe and protected. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to the moon and back!

Very very dussappointed

I’m happy to give a more in-depth review should I be contacted. I retained Jennifer and had more than one issues last being a petition filed without my approval or knowledge stating untrue facts. I would never had approved had I been given to review. There are MANY OTHER issues such as missed deadlin...es, reviewing the same document multiple times whereby running up fees.
