Awful - does not care about his clients - stay away

I hired Marc as my divorce attorney because his partner in the firm was a fraternity brother of mine and recommended him. I trusted Mark to represent my interests and clearly communicated my objective and stance. Marc appeared in court and did the exact opposite of what i had asked, but more import...antly, did not communicate with me for two days. His form of communication is sending a bill and asking for more. Divorce is an emotional trauma and Marc's emotional intelligence is zero. If he treat's his partners's long-time fraternity brother like this, can you imagine how he'd handle your case! Run, Forest, Run!

Regret hiring firm

Marc did not appear to perform due diligence to investigate the issues brought to the firm for my case. Appeared to be more concerned with billable hours than thoroughly considering the best interest of my case. I feel more effort of communication on the firm's part would be helpful.

"I have worked with Marc on many cases over the past several years and have found him to be incredibly hard working, focused, and passionate. Above all, Marc is driven by advancing the best interests of his clients, which in many of our cases together have been minor children. Marc is reputable to and respected by both the bar and bench, and is an asset to families experiencing the unfortunate trauma of divorce and family related disputes."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
